Teaming up with Beautiful Nails and Body Salon

As you know we love hair and we specialize in hair and hair alone. It is our forte and what we do best! However we do still love to keep our nails and bodies in top tip shape!


We have started discussions with the lovely team at the wonderful Beautiful Nails and body salon in Manor Royal and their new salon in Pound Hill. There salon is all nails and everything beauty and we will be offering a special offer for all of our customers at Zerooti at Beautiful Nails. And visa versa. Today in the salon everyone seems to be going for colour changes. It is mainly going lighter which is exciting!

Truly beautiful

Ok ok, now we understand that this is a hair blog, however we just had to tell you all about this amazing range of products by A'kin. 

One of our lovely regular clients very kindly brought us in some of their samples and their Orange blossom body wash today. I have literally just tried out the body wash and it is amazing!

I don't think I have ever got out of the shower to feel so moisturised and my skin so soft without needing to moisturise! Now A'kin is an Australian based company and all of their products are ingredient rich, vegan made with 100% botanical aromatherapy and formulated without animal ingredients  or animal testing. 

It smells fab! You can sense all of the aromatherapy within the product an it is lovely. Not only my body but my mind feels refreshed and energised!

About Molly

Molly is the latest addition to the team at Zerooti Hair Design and is our new Stylist. We thought it would be nice to get to know Molly a little better so we had a little chat with her for her staff profiling.

Age: 19

Position: Stylist

Training: In salon training NVQ Level 2 Stylist.

Why did you become a hairdresser?

I have always had a passion for hair! I always loved doing my hair and have always loved doing my friends hair. Since I started dancing, I used to always do my hair and the other girls hair up styles for dance school! It felt like the right choice to make, and definitely has been!

What is your favorite part of your job?

I really enjoy the social side of hairdressing as you get to interact with a whole variety of different people, every day! No day is ever the same, and I love that! I totally enjoy colouring and also making my client feel good about themselves once the final result is complete. 

Tell us more about you?

Well I am 19 years old and completed my training in December 2012. I have been working within salons the last three years and feel this has built up my skills as I done my training within a salon. I think my friends would describe me as being welcoming and friendly and very chatty! An office job, really just wouldn't be for me.

A client comes in to you and says ' Do whatever you like' What would your dream style to do be?

It would have to be cutting a fashion A-symmetric cut, or a short sharp inverted bob! Depending on the clients base colour I would also apply highlights with 2 to 3 colours depending on the base to create a whole new look.
